Exclusive access to bonus episodes!1. Four Corner Opposition / Foils / Mirrors How this relates to character VOICE. “Squares all the way down:” the opposition does not only apply to the story as a whole, but to each chapter / scene within the story. Every scene should have conflict and bring out conflict. PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN / ERIN BORCKOVITCH / FINDING NEMO
2. Man vs God, vs Man, and vs Himself.
3. Example of scene with conflict, and scene without. (Man in pain, getting pills from a jar.)
4. Every scene: what's the conflict, is this the most interesting thing you could show me, if not: why? No obstacles = no conflict = no drama
5. Altering minor details to create CONFLICT. Characters you like HAVE to do bad things, and characters you dislike HAVE to do good things. There’s always conflict, always 4 corner opposition, even when only one character in a scene (use Xander at computer example).
